Mark your calendars for Tuesday, February 8th at 6:30 p.m. Citizens for a Livable Ralston Community (CLRC) plans to hold its first general meeting at the Arvada Community Food Bank. The meeting will be informal, and all community members and friends of the community are welcome to attend.
This will be the first chance for the members and supporters to meet face-to-face, to collectively decide which community issues are most important to us and to see if there is likely to be enough support to make the CLRC a viable neighborhood association.
If you are interested, please show up. This first meeting may be the most important the group has — and it may be its last. If too few attend the meeting, we may decide to disband our two-month organization. If we are overwhelmed by supporters, there is no limit to what we can accomplish to make central Arvada a better place to live.
The agenda is expected to follow the items on the COMMUNITY ISSUES tab on the association’s website at
The Arvada Community Food Bank is located at 8555 W. 57th Avenue at the site of the old Arvada library. We’ll meet in the west wing Credit Union Community Room, but entry will be through the front door of the building on the south side. We hope to be done by 8:30 p.m. Coffee will be served.
