NOTES TO MEMBERS: CORRIDOR PLAN COMMENT DEADLINE TOMORROW

Aug 30, 2011

by John Kiljan

Dear CLRC members and friends,

This is a reminder that the City’s deadline for commenting on the Ralston Road Corridor Plan is Wednesday, August 31st.  The corridor plan (about 200 pages) can be found on the City’s web page at

http://arvada.org/about-arvada/ralston-road-corridor-plan/

along with this announcement:

Public Comments:

The Ralston Road Corridor Study has been administered by the Transportation Division of Public Works.  Members of the public interested in submitting comments about the Ralston Road Corridor Plan can send feedback to RRCP@arvada.org  .  The closing date for public comments is 5pm on August 31, 2011. “

The plan may come before the City Council for approval as a part of the budget process next month.  Although plan’s next implementation step only calls for $175,000 for preliminary design through 2013, there is a continuance item for $600,000 in the proposed 2012-2013 budget.  Based upon favorable reviews during a budget study session held earlier this month that item seems likely to be approved.

WHERE TO FIND OUT MORE
