CLRC Notes: Community meeting Wednesday night

February 27, 2012

by John Kiljan

Dear CLRC members and friends,

This is just a quick reminder that Arvada’s City Manager, Mark Deven, will be hosting a community meeting at City Hall on Wednesday night.

Here’s the City’s official meeting announcement:

Arvada City Manager Mark Deven will host a community meeting on Wednesday, February 29, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at Arvada City Hall (8101 Ralston Rd.) as an introduction to the community.”

“With the first few months of Deven’s tenure completed as Arvada’s CEO, he’ll meet with Arvada residents to discuss the state of the City, future plans and answer questions.

“’I look forward to meeting members of the community and sharing my vision of where we are moving as a City,’ said Deven.  No reservations needed!  Plan to stop by and meet Arvada’s City Manager.”

CLRC members and friends are encouraged to call or send Mr Deven a short email note in advance of the meeting with the questions they might want to ask.  That helps him and his staff better prepare for the evening.

To find out more about how important the City Manager is to the welfare of our community, check out a prior CLRC Notes article about our City Manager’s background.  It has an offer for citizens to contact him directly with comments and suggestions.  You can find it by digging through our CLRC archives or by going directly to this link

The Citizens for a Livable Ralston Community will post more notes online on its website at as information becomes available.
