For those of us who live near the old Safeway and the Chuck E Cheese strip mall, there is a meeting being held Wednesday evening of next week (May 27th) that may be your chance to voice your ideas about development in what will be called Ralston Creek North when this area is rebuilt. The meeting is being hosted by a development group led by Jim Loftus, who is in negotiations with the Arvada Urban Renewal Authority (AURA) to be the exclusive developer for this seven-acre site.
The notice from AURA reads, “Attached is an invitation to a neighborhood meeting [that] AURA’s proposed developer of the northeast corner of Ralston and Independence is hosting. Please feel free to forward the invitation to your friends and neighbors. The developer is also mailing invitations but I know they don’t always get to all the interested parties. Hope to see you there.”
